HailPing Subscription, Billing, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

1. Plans and Prices

HailPing offers free access and monthly or annual HailPing Pro subscriptions. Current prices are shown in the app.

The price, currency, billing interval, included features, taxes, promotional terms, and renewal terms that apply to your purchase are shown before you authorize payment. Website pricing is informational; the purchase disclosure controls for the transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may change plans, features, or prices prospectively. A price change for an existing subscription applies no earlier than the next renewal after any notice required by law or the applicable purchase terms. An annual subscription bought with a price commitment keeps it as described in Terms of Service §4.

2. Automatic Renewal

Unless the purchase screen expressly states otherwise, a paid HailPing subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annually — until canceled.

By subscribing through an app marketplace, you authorize that marketplace to charge the payment method on file for the then-disclosed subscription price, applicable taxes, and authorized charges at each renewal without further action by you, subject to applicable law.

The purchase flow discloses automatic renewal, price, billing frequency, cancellation method, and when charges begin, and we retain a record of the subscription terms and your affirmative acceptance.

3. Billing and Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Apple or Google — whichever app marketplace you purchased through. A marketplace may update payment credentials through its own account-updater services and may perform fraud prevention under its own terms.

You agree to keep your payment information with the app store current. If a renewal payment fails, the app store may retry it under its own terms.

If a renewal payment fails, Pro access may stop until the app store collects payment.

Prices displayed before purchase may not include applicable taxes. The app store calculates and collects any required taxes.

4. Trials and Promotions

A trial or promotional offer may be subject to additional terms shown when you enroll. Those terms identify the duration, eligibility, price after the promotional period, and cancellation deadline. Unless stated otherwise, a trial that converts to a paid subscription automatically begins charging the disclosed price when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand.

5. How to Cancel

A subscription purchased through Apple or Google must be canceled through that marketplace's subscription settings. Deleting HailPing or your HailPing account does not cancel marketplace billing. The marketplace controls cancellation and refund processing under its terms.

Cancellation must be completed before the next renewal charge to prevent that renewal. The app store confirms the cancellation; keep that confirmation for your records.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Access to paid features continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and the account then returns to free access.

Deleting your HailPing account does not automatically cancel a subscription unless the deletion flow expressly confirms cancellation. Cancel the subscription first — see Delete Your HailPing Account.

6. Refunds

HailPing does not issue refunds directly. Every purchase is billed through the marketplace that processed it, and that marketplace’s own refund policy and process governs any refund request.

If you believe a charge was unauthorized, duplicated, or made after a properly completed cancellation, email help@hailping.com promptly with the account email and transaction information. Do not send a full payment-card number.

Nothing in this Policy limits a refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or other right that cannot lawfully be waived.

7. Plan Changes

You can switch between HailPing Pro monthly and annual billing at any time from the Account screen in the app. The new plan begins when the period you have already paid for ends: you are not charged at the time you switch, and the period already paid for is not refunded, credited, or prorated. Pro access continues without interruption. From the start date, the subscription renews automatically at the new plan’s price until you cancel. HailPing does not calculate or issue prorated subscription credits. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google; refunds are handled under that store’s refund policy, and HailPing cannot issue a refund for a store purchase. Cancelling stops future charges and does not end access before the paid period expires.

8. Price and Feature Changes

We may change subscription prices or included features prospectively. For an existing paid subscription, we provide the notice required by law and identify when a price change takes effect. If you do not agree, cancel before the affected renewal. An annual subscription bought with a price commitment keeps it as described in Terms of Service §4.

Material reduction of paid features during an already-paid period is handled according to applicable law and any specific notice we provide.

9. Account Suspension or Termination

Suspension or termination for violation of the Terms of Service, nonpayment, fraud, abuse, or security risk does not automatically entitle you to a refund. We will not charge renewal fees after a subscription has been properly canceled, except for a charge already authorized or incurred before cancellation.

10. Charge Disputes

Email help@hailping.com first if you believe a charge is incorrect so we can investigate. This does not waive your right to contact the payment provider or card issuer.

Initiating a knowingly false or abusive chargeback may result in suspension or termination and recovery of amounts lawfully owed, subject to applicable law.
