Submit a Privacy Request

1. What You Can Request

Depending on where you live and whether a privacy law applies to us, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use and disclose it;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• give you a portable copy of certain information;
• delete your account and associated personal information;
• limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information;
• withdraw consent where our processing is based on consent; or
• appeal a decision if we deny your request.

We do not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Rights are subject to legal definitions, exceptions, and verification requirements.

HailPing does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process it for targeted advertising, so there is no advertising opt-out to submit. If that ever changes, we will update the Privacy Policy and add the required controls before the change takes effect.

2. How to Submit a Request

Email help@hailping.com with the subject "HailPing Privacy Request". Tell us:

• what you are requesting;
• the email address on your HailPing account;
• how you signed in (email and password, Google, or Apple); and
• anything else that will help us find the right records.

To delete your account, you can also use the account-deletion control in the HailPing app. See Delete Your HailPing Account for what is deleted and what we may keep.

3. How We Verify a Request

We verify requests so we do not disclose or delete information at the wrong person's direction. In most cases, sending the request from the email address on the account — and confirming a reply we send to that address — is enough. Where a request covers sensitive records, we may also ask you to confirm from inside the HailPing app.

Do not email us a driver's license, passport, Social Security number, or other identity document. We do not ask for those by ordinary email. If we ever need more than the checks above, we will tell you what we need and give you a safer way to send it.

4. Authorized Agents

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where the law permits. We may ask the agent for proof of authority and may verify the request directly with you.

5. Timing

We acknowledge requests and respond within the period required by the applicable law. If we need more time or cannot fulfill part of a request, we will explain why and, where applicable, how to appeal.
