Is HailPing free?

Where does the hail data come from?
Ground hail reports are storm reports filed with the National Weather Service; HailPing receives them through Vaisala Xweather and other public sources. The hail swath on the map is a radar estimate from NOAA MRMS. HailPing groups the reports into storms, usually within a day.
Does HailPing send weather warnings?
No. HailPing alerts tell you about hail that was reported, so you can plan work. For warnings, follow the National Weather Service.
