Hail Ping is operated by Storm Digital. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit hailping.com, create an account, purchase a report, view storm data, use our tools, or contact us.

Hail Ping is intended for users located in the United States only. We do not intentionally offer Hail Ping to users outside the United States.

By using Hail Ping, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information reasonably needed to operate Hail Ping, provide storm reports, process purchases, secure the service, respond to support requests, and improve the product.

We may collect:

  • Account information, including name, email address, business name, login information, and account preferences.
  • Contact information you provide when contacting support.
  • Payment and transaction information, including purchase history, billing status, product access, and payment confirmation details. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full credit card number.

  • Storm report activity, including the reports, maps, markets, and data views you access.

2. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Hail Ping is not designed to collect sensitive personal information.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, precise GPS location from your device, health information, biometric information, financial account numbers, race or ethnicity, religious beliefs, union membership, sexual orientation, citizenship status, or children's information.

Do not send sensitive personal information through Hail Ping or support emails.

  • Process purchases and provide access to free and paid storm reports.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Send account, billing, security, service, and product-related messages.

4. No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of children under 16.

We do not provide personal information to third parties in exchange for money.

5. Targeted Advertising and Tracking

Hail Ping may use basic analytics to understand site usage and improve performance.

We do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or third-party targeted advertising unless this Privacy Policy is updated and legally required opt-out controls are provided.

If we later use advertising pixels, retargeting tools, or cross-context behavioral advertising, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide required opt-out options before doing so.

  • Service providers that help us operate Hail Ping, including hosting, database, analytics, email, support, security, payment, and infrastructure providers.

Because Hail Ping does not currently sell personal information or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, these signals may not change your experience unless our practices change.

12. Children's Privacy

Hail Ping is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact help@hailping.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

13. Third-Party Services

Hail Ping may use third-party services for payments, hosting, analytics, email, security, mapping, weather data, business data, and other operations.

Third-party services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or availability of third-party services.

Hail Ping is intended for users located in the United States. We do not intentionally offer Hail Ping to users outside the United States.

If you access Hail Ping from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Hail Ping after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
